How to request a 2FA reset

If you have lost access to your two factor authentication (2FA) device or are facing difficulties receiving the 2FA code, you can still use your backup codes to log in. 

If you do not have your backup codes, read the instructions below to raise a 2FA reset request with Carta Support team. 

1. Go to and log in using your credentials.

2. Click "Recovery options" from the Authentication Code screen.

3. If you have your backup codes, enter one of them on the following screen. If you do not, click "Contact us" to raise a request with Carta Support to disable 2FA on your account. 

Step 4. Fill out the request form with the required information.

Note: Temporarily, please drag and drop the image file of you ID on the attachment button or the form will refresh. 

Step 5. Check your email and click 'complete reset request' to confirm the request.
