How to Connect to Xero
1. If you would like to connect your Xero account to Carta, navigate to 'Settings' under Company, then select 'Financials and HR.'
Note: You must have pop-up windows enabled in your browser to Connect to Xero.
2. Press 'Connect' and you will be prompted to log in to your Xero account.
3. Once you have connected to Xero, you can export an Excel file with your financial information from the 'Reports,' then 'Financials' section at the bottom of the page.
Choose the Start and End Date of the report you are running and click 'Export.'
You can always disconnect your connection to Xero account by returning to ' Financials and HR' under 'Settings' by clicking 'Disconnect'.
If you are not the owner of the Xero account that you wish to connect, you will need to ask the owner of the Xero account to add you, with Admin permissions, to their Xero account. Please see Xero's instructions for this.
