Contacting the issuer

If you have questions about securities on Carta (i.e., you can contact the issuer directly from those securities. This makes it easier to resolve issues without leaving Carta.

Contacting an Issuer BEFORE Accepting a Security

1. Review the email sent by Carta regarding the electronic security from the issuing company and click "Accept on Carta".

2. If you do not have a Carta account, you will be prompted to create a new account. If you do have a Carta account, you will need to log in. 

3. After logging into your Carta account, you will see Tasks to complete. Click 'Report issue' to open the security details page.

Type your message where it says "Enter your message here."  This message will be sent to the company administrators for the organization you are accepting the security from.


Contacting an Issuer of a PREVIOUSLY ACCEPTED Security

1. Go to 'Holdings' > 'Investments'. Select the security you've accepted in your portfolio.

2. Enter message and hit 'Send'.

Type your message where it says "Enter your message here."  This message will be sent to the company administrators for the organization you are accepting the security from.
