How To Set Document Permissions
Limited Partners can set different document permissions by user. Users will only be able to view documents tagged with the document type that they have permission to view (to learn how to tag documents click here).
There are seven types of documents that can be given separate permissions:
- Annual and quarterly reports
- Capital account statements
- Capital calls
Setting permissions when adding a new user
Navigate to 'People' under Account, then click 'Add User.'
Enter the information in the popup window. You can determine document permissions from the 'Documents permissions' drop-down menu.
Click 'Invite' to add the user.
Editing the permissions of a user already on the account
Navigate to 'People' under Account, then click 'Edit' next to the relevant individual.
Edit document permissions from the 'Document permissions' drop-down menu.
