How do I reverse a cancellation?
Users with Full access permissions can reverse cancellations by navigating to Essentials → Manage equity. From here, complete the following steps:
Click into the appropriate security ledger → locate the security.
Click the three dots to the right of it → select Reverse cancellation.
Enter the reason for reversal and any notes that should be recorded on the certificate.
Confirm that the cancellation should be reversed and that you have notified all appropriate parties then click Reverse cancellation to complete.
How to correct clerical errors
If a security has been issued inadvertently or designated with an incorrect type, please contact Carta Support for assistance in rectifying the error and ensuring the erroneous security is properly deleted.
Prior to initiating corrective actions, confirm that the security has been canceled effective its original issuance date. After cancellation, submit the necessary security details to Carta Support to facilitate its deletion.
