Drafting and issuing Advanced Subscription Agreements (ASAs)
Advanced Subscription Agreements (ASAs) are UK-specific financing instruments commonly used by startups to raise funds before a formal equity fundraising round, similar to SAFEs.
Navigate to Raise funds → Add investment.
Select the instrument type, ASA → click Next: Investor information.
Enter the investor information (name and email) → click Next: Financing information.
Complete the Financing information section. (Required fields are marked with an asterisk *).
Click Next: Review ASA.
Review the entered information for accuracy → click Add ASA to cap table.
After adding to the cap table, ASAs can be viewed via the Raise funds hub or via Essentials → Manage equity → Convertibles.
