How to exercise interests
Carta LLC company users with Full administrator access can record exercises of option grants and warrants by following the steps below.
Navigate to Cap table > Interests and interest types.
Click the row tools button to the right of the applicable interest and select Exercise from the dropdown menu.
Gather the required information and click Next.
Review the Interest Types details. Click Next.
Enter the Exercise date, Quantity, and Price. Click Next.
Review the new interest's information and click Next.
Carefully check all of the exercise details. To confirm, click Next.
