How to exercise warrants into certificates

When it comes time to exercise a warrant into a certificate, the actual transaction must be completed offline.

A Full access company account user can easily reflect the transaction on the cap table by following these steps:

1. After logging into Carta, navigate to Securities > Warrants.

2. Click the button to the right of the applicable warrant's row and select Exercise warrant.

3. Enter the details, including the exercise date and the number of shares. Attach the relevant exercise agreement and select the associated share class from the dropdown. Click to proceed.

4. Review the details of the resulting certificate and click Exercise warrant to send it to the company signatory.
