How to accelerate vesting on a security
You might accelerate vesting on securities for a variety of reasons: to attract and retain valuable employees, to provide transitional support for strategic shifts such as mergers or IPO preparations, or even to address personal situations like divorce settlements or estate planning.
Whatever the reason, consider possible legal and financial implications before implementing accelerated vesting to ensure compliance, as changes to vesting schedules often require board approval.

Navigate to the appropriate ledger under via Essentials → Manage equity and locate the security you’d like to modify.
Click the three dots to the right of its row and select Accelerate vesting.
Enter the effective date, the date on which the accelerated shares will vest, and the quantity to accelerate.
At the bottom of the window, enter a reason for the acceleration.
Click Save acceleration.
Review the security’s accelerated vesting schedule at any time by clicking into the Vesting schedule tab when viewing its details.
