How do I print a security?
Log into your Carta account and navigate to your Portfolio, then click on the security's issuing company.
From the Holdings tab, scroll down to view a list of your associated holdings within the company.
Click on a certificate to open its details, or select View from the button to the right of its row.
Click Print to open the digital certificate in a new tab.
Print using your browser settings or save a copy of the certificate to your local drive.
How to view documents provided by your company
Documents like 701 Disclosures, Copy B of Form 3921, and company updates can be found under Documents > Portfolio documents.
Every issued option grant has three required documents attached:
Equity Incentive Plan
Form of Option Agreement
Form of Exercise Agreement
To find these, navigate to the Portfolio tab in the navigation bar. Within your portfolio, any companies that have issued you securities will be listed.
An overview of the securities that you have accepted, divided by type (Shares, Option grants, Convertibles, etc.), can be found on the lower portion of the Holdings page for each of your issuing companies. For more details of a specific security, click its name or image.
Click into the Documents and notes tab on the left to find the attached equity incentive plan, form of option agreement, and form of exercise agreement.
