How to set up your J.P. Morgan account and add an authorized Carta user
For former First Republic Bank account holders, follow the steps below to set up your new J.P. Morgan account and create Carta's login.
Follow the instructions in this video (opens external site) to create your new J.P. Morgan account direct from your FRB portal.
Once within the JPM portal, navigate from the Main Menu to select Access & Security Manager.
Skip to timestamp 7:20 in the video and follow the instructions to create a new sub-user profile using the following information:
Once the new user has been created, notify the Carta team with the new User Name as soon as possible to avoid the need to resend or reset temporary passwords, as the temporary passwords expire within 24 hours.

Select Security & Privacy
Accept the terms and conditions and Submit
How to grant access to authorized users
Sign in to JPMorganOnline.com
Select Security & Privacy
Select Add users or assign rights
Select Add authorized user
Enter the user details.
Select Next.
