






Equity Refresh report
The Equity Refresh report, also known as the Refresh Grant Planner, is an interactive report that shows to admins which employees will complete vesting in the next months (in the next 6, 12, and 24 months) and an estimated refresh grant for that employee. You can open the Employee Scorecard by clicking on the holder's name.
This report can also be used as a planner to identify which employees will receive a grant and help determine how much each refresh grant should be based on market benchmarks.

Access the Refresh Grant Planner by selecting Reports in Total Compensation or from the Refresh Grant Planner tile in the Manage Employees hub from the Equity Admin navigation.

Use the filters and the columns to begin identifying employees.
Employee name | First and last name |
Total equity | The total number of shares granted to this individual, inclusive of all award dates |
Total exercised | The number of shares that this employee has already exercised |
Next 12 months vesting | The number of shares that will vest in the next 12 months after today’s date |
Completing vesting | The date that this employee will complete vesting |

Using the report – There are a few ways to identify employees.
Job Area
Track - Individual Contributor, Manager, Executive
High retention risk
Any employees who are “Below” or “Severely below” the Equity and/or Salary target
Completing vesting within "X months” – Filter the report by employees completing vesting in the next 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, and 36 months
Tenure Grant Eligible: Filters employees based on tenure eligibility, calculated from the hire date or the last tenure grant date.

In order to select employees, click on the box on the left and select “Add to Plan” individually or bulk select employees and select Add selected to plan.
The plan will autosave.

Select Refresh Grant Plan to begin deciding how much equity grants should be for each employee selected in the plan.
The Equity pool impact will be displayed along with the recommended grant.

The recommendation of how much a refresh grant should be is calculated by new hire benchmarks for this employee’s role and adjusted proportionally for use as refresh grants based on your Plan Settings.

Navigate to the top right of the planner to draft equity awards or export the plan to share with your team or board.
