Portfolio commitments
The portfolio commitments page can be used to analyse exposure by the fund commitments held.
Fund exposure

Commitment metrics are aggregated over the full portfolio so portfolio exposure can be analyzed, as functions of the following attributes:
Fund currency
Fund GP
Fund name
Fund sector
Fund strategy
Geographical focus
Vintage year
The top 10 segments are displayed, and all others are grouped into the Others segment, with the number of grouped segments shown in brackets. The (Uncategorized) segment is used to group any funds where the specified attribute is unavailable.
This chart also supports drill through ability, so click on any attribute in the chart or the list and see a breakdown of how the top funds contribute to the overall attribute.
Below the chart, a table of the full set of information can be found with the following columns:
Attribute
Total commitment
Contributions
Account balance
Unfunded
Exposure
All data in this section can be exported, and the date filter can be used to analyze changes in the attributes over time. The information primarily comes from extracted information, although attributes such as unfunded can be calculated if not provided.
Total exposure
The 10 funds that contribute most to overall exposure are displayed here as functions of market value and total unfunded value, in the portfolio currency. Hover over the bars to see the data points and full fund name or export the data to do further analysis.
The unfunded commitment is calculated using the total commitment and total contributions or funded commitment, unless provided directly. The total of the market value and unfunded value is analyzed by fund across the portfolio to identify the top contributors.

All commitments

A full list of commitments can be found in this section; here you’ll find reference, valuation, performance, and cashflow data allowing a full analysis of funds, split by commitment. Additionally, the fund section has entity level metrics to evaluate the fund as a whole.
By default, both the fund and portfolio currencies are shown for each metric, but the checkboxes in the top right allow you to select a currency. To further shorten the table, the overarching metric type fields can be collapsed to only display one column. Note that when exporting data, these filters will be applied and only displayed data will be exported.
Click on any of the fund names to go directly to the fund page, where the view defaults to the date and commitment selected but can be changed to any commitment across all portfolios. Here you can see in depth information about the fund, underlying investments, and attribution – see Fund overview for more information.
Fields that have no data for the funds displayed on the page are hidden, but they can be viewed (or hidden) by clicking the three horizontal lines and navigating to the table icon (rightmost), where all fields are listed. Using the other icons, you can also filter each field by value, search for values, and change the column size.
