Scope of Services: Fund Forecasting

With the Fund Forecasting platform, you can:

Build a fund model as part of portfolio construction
Access market benchmarks
Share your fund model with prospective LPs
Update portfolio construction with actual investments
Forecast reserves and exit scenarios for actual investments
Collect and analyze KPIs related to actual investments
Generate reports on investment and fund performance

Onboarding process:

Kick-off call: Our implementation team will walk you through the onboarding process and give you an overview of the data needed.
Data collection and upload: We’ll work with you to gather and import all the information needed to set up your Fund Forecasting account.
Final review and Fund Forecasting tutorial: We’ll schedule a call to review your account and walk you through the Fund Forecasting platform. The onboarding process typically takes 4-6 weeks after data collection.

Carta will:

Assist you in setting up your fund model and adding investments
Provide training and guidance on best practices on use of the platform
Work with your Carta fund administration team to collect and load your fund financial information from the Carta General Ledger into Fund Forecasting (if applicable)

You are responsible for:

Providing all requested information and documentation for implementation (information should be provided within 2 weeks to ensure a timely implementation period)
Obtaining the required level of portfolio company Carta cap table access

You may also subscribe to Carta’s Portfolio Insights service, which provides the collection of source documents via Carta for the Fund Forecasting KPI manager.
