Committing metrics to the database

Carta LP Portfolio Analytics saves your work automatically, so you can come back to the document at any time. Once you are happy with the validated dataset, click the FINISH button.

You will be presented with the option to either commit the data to the database, ready for extraction, or submit the document for approval. We support four eyes approval, so assign a reviewer and submit your documents for a final round of checks before they are committed. We always allow changes to metrics even after documents are extracted, but this extra step ensures reference data is correctly set up and helps to organise your workflow.

Note: If your tenant setup uses mandatory approval workflow you will only be able to commit to the database if you are the designated reviewer for the document. The extracted data will contain all metrics which are not DISMISSED.
