How do I accept my convertible or SAFE?
When a company issues you a convertible, you will receive an email notification that includes the convertible number in the subject line.
After opening the email, click Accept on Carta.
Why does my SAFE say "convertible" on Carta?
SAFEs and convertible notes are displayed under the same category in Carta. Seeing "convertible" in a popup doesn't mean your SAFE is mislabeled — Carta groups these securities together.
Once your account is activated, you will be taken to the Tasks page. To accept your convertible, click the Review button.
🔍 In this step, you can also click the Export button in the upper-right corner to generate a report of all convertible notes and SAFEs you have left to accept.
