How to action cash reconciliation tasks

During cash reconciliation, your Carta Fund Administration team may request additional information to classify or reconcile certain transactions. Use the Cash reconciliation task list on your dashboard page to review each escalation, add details or documents, and confirm transactions.

All tasks that require your attention can be found on your Carta dashboard.

  1. On the dashboard page, find the Cash Reconciliation Tasks section.

Here, you'll see a list of cash reconciliation escalations that require additional information.

  1. Select the transaction you want to confirm or for which you want to provide support.

  1. On the right-hand side of the screen, select the transaction type.

  1. Add additional notes to provide more context if needed.

  1. For some transactions, you will have the option to upload additional files to support the reconciliation.

  1. After providing the necessary information, click submit.

The system will then move you to the next pending reconciliation task.

  1. If the Fund Admin team needs clarification, they may send you a message directly within a task. You can respond to these messages and provide additional context within the thread.

  1. Once you have confirmed all of the transactions, you'll see a confirmation page, and all of your transaction details will be up to date.
