How to add a material event through the valuations dashboard
More granularity is added to a company’s 409A dashboard to manage the company’s fair market value (FMV).
A user with Full access permissions may add a new material event to mark the FMV as stale. When this setting is applied, stakeholders who exercise electronically will receive an in-app disclaimer as part of the workflow, informing them that the FMV is currently under review and may change. This allows stakeholders to make informed decisions and gives them the opportunity to contact the company with any questions before proceeding.

Navigate to Compliance & Tax > 409A Valuations.
Click Manage fair market value, then select Add material event.
