How do I add a non-Carta FMV?
Users with Full access or Company editor permissions can follow the steps below to add a historical or non-Carta FMV to their company’s account.
Navigate to Compliance & Tax and click Manage valuations under 409A Valuations. From the Valuations Dashboard, click Manage fair market value > Add fair market value.
In the modal, select the Valuation source, enter the date range for the added FMV, and optionally upload a copy of the 409A report.
Enter the Fair Market Value and click Save.
If Non-Carta 409A is selected as the Valuation source, enter the Valuation provider and the Reason for non-Carta 409A in the corresponding fields.
The newly added FMV will be displayed with other historical valuations on the 409A dashboard.
