What do I need to do to ensure subscription payments go through?
If your bank account has a debit block, ACH Positive Pay, or fraud filter enabled, you’ll need to allowlist Stripe’s ACH company IDs to ensure your Carta subscription payment is processed successfully.
Contact your bank and provide the following ACH company IDs:
1800948598 and 4270465600
PAYD372802 and PAYD574139
Will I need to re-verify my bank account when Carta starts using Stripe?
In most cases, no. However, some existing verified accounts won’t be auto-migrated due to security protocols.
What happens if I don't authorize Stripe with my bank?
If your bank account uses a ACH debit block or fraud filter and Stripe’s ACH IDs are not authorized:
ACH debits will fail
Your account may be blocked after two unauthorized attempts (R29 failures)
You may be asked for a written bank letter confirmation (which is time-consuming and not guaranteed to succeed) in order to use the account

What if I don’t allowlist any vendors and prefer to approve transactions one by one?
You can choose not to allowlist Stripe and continue manually approving each ACH transaction. However, please note:
If your bank rejects two consecutive unauthorized transactions from Stripe (e.g., ACH return code R29), Stripe may block further ACH payment attempts.
This process is managed by Stripe, not Carta, and reactivating your account after a block will require additional steps.
