Carta requires access to the following documents to begin your implementation:

A fully updated cap table in excel format
Stock and option ledgers in excel format with all historical data
A stakeholder contact list containing emails and relationships for all current stakeholders
The original certificate of incorporation plus any amended filings

The items below are also required if applicable, but can be added later so long as the information in the list above has already been provided.
