




How to designate a point of contact for GP tasks
Carta's Fund Administration team works in close partnership with general partners to run their back office.
To ensure accurate and timely deliverables and enable the quick resolution of open tasks, follow the steps below to designate someone to serve as the point of contact for your firm's Carta account.
To get started, select Notification Settings from the dropdown on the right of the Carta Dashboard.

Within Notification Settings, click into the Firm settings tab.
Click Edit to add or remove points of contact.

Tell us how you'd like to designate approvers
Decide if you'd like to assign one individual as the overall point of contact for the firm, or if you'd like to assign users to specific entities, tasks, or a combination.
The fields below will update based on your selection.

Select point of contact
Depending on how you've chosen to designate, select the approver(s) from the dropdown menu(s).
Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply changes.

If designating the same Point of Contact for all tasks and entities:
You can + Add another user or click - to remove one
