How to choose the right level of cap table access
Carta has four different levels of cap table viewing permissions that can be granted, making it easy for company admins to share the right amount of information with just the right stakeholders.
Keep reading to learn more about the features of each access level, but here’s the gist:
At the Restricted level, stakeholders can view only their personal holdings, as well as the company’s FMV and profile information. |
At the Basic level, stakeholders can also view a summary cap table, along with share class terms and the company’s fundraising history. |
At the Advanced level, stakeholders are granted access to detailed holdings information for preferred shareholders. |
At the Full details level, stakeholders can view detailed holdings information for all stakeholders. |
