Accessing the Market Insights tool
Navigate to Essentials > View Market Insights.
For fundraising, click on the Fundraising Insights tab.
Enter the Fundraising Round, the Region where the company is located, and the Industry.
For Priced Rounds, the tool provides data on:
Distribution of Valuation
Median Cash Raised
For SAFE Rounds, the tool offers insights on:
Distribution of Valuation Caps
Commonly appearing terms in SAFEs
Companies categorized by the number of investors in a SAFE round
For hiring, click on the Hiring Insights tab.
Founders will be able to view:
Compensation Benchmarks | Understand how much to pay early hires based on salary and equity benchmarks from Carta Total Compensation. |
