How to view your subscription details

You can easily access and review your company’s Carta subscription information (including your contract, billing contacts, renewal cycles, estimated charges, and plan features) all from your Carta account.

To get started:
  1. Go to Company settings in the bottom-left navigation

  2. Click the Subscription details tab

Billing summary

The Billing summary section allows you to manage your company’s billing contact and access your Carta service agreement.

  • The billing contact receives all subscription-related communications, including invoice emails and payment reminders

  • You can also download a copy of your Carta contract directly from this section

Subscription summary

The Subscription summary provides a breakdown of your current subscription and upcoming charges.

Here’s what you’ll see:

Subscription details
  • Renewal date and renewal frequency

  • Your active subscription plan and included tools

  • Any additional features tied to your account

Active subscription
  • Activation date: When your subscription began

  • Billing start date: When billing began under your current plan

  • Charge interval: The frequency at which your company is invoiced

  • Stakeholder count: The number of active stakeholders on your account

  • Stakeholder floor: The minimum stakeholder count you’ll be billed for

Estimated next charge

Your estimated next charge is calculated based on today’s stakeholder count. Since Carta subscriptions renew annually, this estimate may update as your stakeholder totals change.

Plan features

This section lists all features included in your subscription, each with a short description.

  • Click Additional billing and plan details to view more about pricing and feature breakdown.

Sales tax

If your company is located in a state where Carta is required to collect sales tax, the taxed amount will appear in both your estimated and last charge.

Linked payment accounts

The Linked payment accounts section shows all bank accounts or credit cards connected to your Carta account for billing.

  • The account used for subscription billing is marked

  • If applicable, a separate account for online transactions will also be shown
