Portfolio Insights customers can update the value and gain/loss on their investments directly in the app.
Login to Carta to access your investment firm account. If not already, click on Overview to view a list of your investments.
Select the investment you would like to update.
Click on the Holdings tab of the selected portfolio company then click the arrow for the desired holding to expand.
Click on the three dots on the right side of the certificate and select Edit value.
Enter in the updated price per share and correlating date then click Save.
The value and gain/loss will automatically update by multiplying the latest price per share by the number of shares held.
