Private debt asset class

Carta LP Portfolio Analytics supports extraction of private debt metrics (security level metrics) for performance reports

Metrics

Securities are displayed as details of an investment on the Network tab of the Reference page. You can view them by clicking into any investment and choosing 'View securities'. A scrollable table will appear with all securities associated with the event. Use this table to add, delete, or edit your securities easily.

New metrics have been added to the metric landscape for performance reports with Private Debt metrics. You can view them on Securities tab on Filters page.

Network validation on security level

Network validation process follows a similar workflow as that for Performance Reports​

1. Security details are displayed as nested rows of individual investments​

2. Unknown security details are new details identified in the pdf but not present in reference data​

3. Not found details are records present in reference data but not identified in the pdf​

Metric validation screen

1. Select tab ‘Securities’​

2. Security details can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Investment’ drawer​

3. Security investment metrics are displayed as columns, unlike asset metrics which are displayed as rows​

4. Column selector can be used to display or hide security investment metrics​

5. Hover over a metric and click the ellipsis to locate it on the pdf or dismiss it from current view​
