Searching, filtering and creating custom views

Users can use the search box or filter panel to narrow down their results.
They can also save this as a custom view, to return to at a later point.

Searching

Use the search box to identify specific documents by any category, including:

  • Fund name

  • Investor name

  • Document name

  • Document type

  • Document status

  • Label

  • User (assigned to or reviewer)

Select multiple options across categories, or use the select all checkbox next to category headings. When you're finished with the view, click 'Clear all' in the filter panel to quickly remove all applied selections.

Filtering

Use the filter panel to filter documents directly, view your applied filters, and clear all.

Simply use the drop down lists under each category to quickly select your desired results. For completed date, received date, and due date, we have introduced a calendar view where the user can select a date range.

The period category is similarly set out as a calendar, where individual quarters can be selected.

TIP: Doing multiple searches and don't want to keep opening the panel? Use the pin icon in the top right to dock and undock the panel, making it easy to access.

Custom views

Users can apply any number of filters, then choose to “Save view as” and enter the name they would like the view to be saved under. This can be especially helpful for separating out document types, cashflow notices due between certain dates, documents assigned to you, or to segregate documents in various statuses. Saved views are only visible to the user who saved them, so create as many as you need without worry of clutter!

Helpfully, these filters are dynamic. For example, if a user filters on Q1 2025 and saves this view as “First Quarter”, the view will retain this filter. Any documents uploaded later within this quarter will also be visible in “First Quarter”. Once a view is set up, the user can change the filters and save their changes under the existing view or as a new view.

All saved views will be available in the left panel:
