Using date filters
The date filter lets you specify more precisely which metrics matter to you, and thereby helps reduce noise and validation time.

By default, the metric validation screen shows metrics from all quarterly periods found in the document. However, if you don't want to extract all historical data from a document, then this can needlessly increase the time you spend validating a document.
Filter by period and reduce validation time
With the new filter setting for dates you can specify exactly which quarterly periods you are interested in, and which to exclude.
For example, you can now focus on e.g. just the current quarter, and won't have to check metrics from other periods. This reduces visual noise on your screen and saves you time.
Optimise date filters for your workflow
If you are interested in extracting the most recent data, you can use the document's report period as filter. This will focus on the latest data contained within the PDF.
However, if your workflow includes extracting historical data, then you can also choose specific quarters going back several years.
