To have a successful Portfolio Insights experience, we recommend sending an email to inform your portfolio companies that you will be using Carta for quarterly data collection.

We’re using Carta to manage our quarterly portfolio data collection. The data collection service is intended to streamline communication and data capture for our portfolio insights requirements. All information provided through Carta is kept strictly confidential and accessed only by us. As part of this quarterly collection process, we ask that you:
Look out for a quarterly email we send through Carta and follow the provided link to upload the request data (which may include your latest financials, forecasts, KPIs and/or cap table).
If you manage your cap table using Carta already, please share access with us through the platform.
Your collaboration allows us to be a long term partner for you and your venture.
To our portfolio companies that don’t currently use Carta:
We encourage companies to sign-up for Carta's Private Market platform which will help automate your reporting processes. Several of our portfolio companies currently use Carta’s Private Market tools and systems for the following reasons:
Mitigate compliance risks, receive 409a valuations, and reduce inaccuracies
Reduce legal fees and consolidate the equity administration processes
Share real-time cap table updates with investors through the platform
